As Britain surges headlong towards having too many vehicles on its roads it is time to look at alternatives to the internal combustion engine and talk about what we can do to make sure that we all enjoy driving and keep each other safe.

So, what do I know about driving? I am an advanced driver who has worked in the driver training and assessment industry for over twenty years. On top of that I have written and performed comedy for much longer, I have written for TV, radio, podcasts, theatre productions, internet parody news sites and stand up comedians.
Hopefully, these two things together mean that I can take road safety seriously, but not myself. I intend to write about this stuff in a funny way. Fingers crossed eh? Unless you are driving right now, but if you are stop reading this and pay attention to the road you blithering idiot.
There will be explanations of terminology, funny articles, discussions and opinions on new technology, and pieces about driving techniques to improve your foreplay. No wait, not that, driving.
In the future there may also be podcasts and videos if I continue with this. I do have a habit of making something and then stopping when I get bored, It could be a wild ride
