After many years of studying it has been ascertained that the best way to avoid your cat hurting you is to not use it as an impromptu measuring device.

Professor Davison, a spokesperson for The Institute for Research into the Hitherto Blindingly Obvious confirmed that swinging a feline above your head was not actually a good way to work out the dimensions of any size of room.

It is, however, a good way to end up with a very poorly cat and lot’s of upper body scratches.

Professor Davison added “I think it would be cheaper and simpler to buy a tape measure, don’t you?”
