A woman who posts how great her husband is on social media is definitely having an affair according to her friends.

A 38 year old woman who frequently posts about the wonderful things that her husband has done is suspected of foul play by her friends.

It first started when friends of the woman became suspicious of a fantastic meal that he had reportedly made for her. The friends confirmed that they had all eaten food that he had made at a party previously and it was alright at best.

When the friend’s partners saw the posts, they said that it made them look bad. How could they compete with this seemingly fictional man who could do sports, make sourdough and look after his own children?

It was pointed out to these men that looking after your own children is not a fucking superpower.

Further concerns were raised when she often posted how good looking he was.

‘He’s a 4 out of 10 at best.’ Said one friend, who wished to remain anonymous, for some reason.

‘She is up to something behind his back, it is the only possible explanantion.’

The hearsay was then corroborated by more circumstantial evidence from other friends, who just started to sound like they were jealous, to be honest. A theory that was backed up by a spokesperson from the Institute of Research into the Hitherto Blindingly Obvious, Professor Damien Jones. .

‘Often people get upset by things that they read online about other people, then they compare those posts to their own sad and bitter little lives and find themselves wanting. This leaves them feeling that the best way to deal with the sadness it is to manufacture some bizarre theory that they have no actual evidence for. This is how most fake news and conspiracy theories start.’

‘She is having an affair though, definitely.’ He added. ‘At it like a rabbit as soon as his back is turned. My wife never posts anything nice about me on social media and we are a well-adjusted couple. so that’s proof’.
